November 6th

Philippines: Higaunon tribe: Nearly 2,000 Higaunon New Testaments made it to a tribal village last week. Pray that many can be bound in time to be distributed at a Nov. 14 thanksgiving service. Find out more -- read the story >>

Philippines: Manobo tribe: Thank God with us for the testimony of Mahan and Arsisa, who moved to another Manobo village to share the Gospel and saw God provide for their needs. Find out more -- read the story >>

Papua New Guinea: Inanbimali tribe: An outspoken Inanbimali believer has died, and it's quite different from earlier deaths. Praise the Lord that even now Lawrence is helping point others to Jesus. Find out more -- read the story >>

Papua New Guinea: Uriai tribe: Twenty Uriais have learned to read and write their own language. They will be able to read along when Bible lessons begin. Thank God for His work -- and the work He is about to do -- among the Uriais. Find out more -- read the story >>

Papua New Guinea: Wusuraambya tribe: A Yagarian couple, Akon and Esoli, was a great help and encouragement at the Wusuraambya believers' first conference. Pray that the lessons learned lead to changed lives. Find out more -- read the story >>

Papua New Guinea: Please pray for Deena Hendrickson and other school teachers who have the responsibility of teaching the children of missionaries. Find out more -- read the story >>

Papua New Guinea: Ivanga tribe: Ivanga church leaders are beginning to disciple younger men as Bible teachers. One teacher -- Asele -- is teaching evangelistic Bible lessons in two villages. Please pray that those hearing God's Word will understand the message and place their faith in Christ.

Papua New Guinea: There are currently 30 Bible translations in progress in Papua New Guinea but only one missionary trained to check those translations. Please pray that more missionaries can be trained for this role so that the translation work does not get stalled, and God's Word can be put into the hands of those waiting to read it.

Bolivia: Ayore tribe: Eighteen Ayore men returned from an evangelistic trip Saturday and considered their ministry profitable. They overcame obstacles of weather, transportation and a general lack of interest by many Ayores and saw God work in the hearts of some. Please pray for them as they discuss how to be more effective and the need to do follow-up work.

Bolivia: Yura tribe: Missionaries Bruce and Jan Johnson are working on materials in the Trinitario and Yura languages for radio broadcasts. Please pray that they can complete the project and that the broadcasts will reach many for Christ. Find out more -- read the story >>

Paraguay: Manjui tribe: A Manjui Bible teacher -- Isnei -- is now teaching a group about the life of Christ. This group of Manjuis had no idea what the Old Testament was about before Isnei taught them. They are now beginning to understand clearly that Jesus is the Messiah they heard about in the previous lessons. Please pray that they will express true faith in Christ.

Mexico: Please pray for God's direction as missionaries Jeremy and Beth Everson consider joining a team ministering among the Cora people.
