Guinea: Landuma tribe: (January 5, 2009) Sana has epilepsy which the Landuma people believe means he's "from a demon," but the hearts of his family are opening up to him. Brazil: Pacaas Novos tribe: (December 30, 2008) Delegations from 17 villages came to a leadership conference for the Pacaas Novos church this month. Pacaas Novos pastors taught from Romans. Thank the Lord with us for the work He is doing among these people.

Senegal: Budik tribe: (December 29, 2008) Pray for strength, wisdom and understanding as Kali teaches Romans to the believers in one Budik village and Labo teaches Acts to the believers in another village. Thank the Lord for Budik Bible teachers.

Thailand: Karen tribe: (December 29, 2008) Thank the Lord with us that a language check earlier this month showed that Leigh and Lea Betts have made "significant progress" in learning the Karen language. However, they still need to do a lot of work to understand the Karen culture, and must keep learning the language. Please pray for good times of learning and building relationships.

Senegal: Balanta tribe: (December 29, 2008) Thank the Lord that Dave McKee was able to give a clear presentation of the Gospel on a Balanta-language radio program last week. Pray for God's Word to penetrate many hearts. Find out more -- read the story >>

Brazil: (December 23, 2008) Christopher and Ginger Mackey arrived in Brazil last week, and are preparing to begin ministry there. Thank the Lord with us for the excellent progress they have made in learning Portuguese.

Papua New Guinea: Mibu tribe: (December 23, 2008) Today Geoff Husa is to check portions of Romans with his Mibu co-worker, Roifo. "I'm very anxious about testing this text, because I have so many uncertainties about it," Geoff wrote. Pray that the check goes well, that any inaccuracies are caught, and that Geoff and Roifo can find solutions to any difficult passages.

Brazil: Pacaas Novos tribe: (December 22, 2008) Missionary Zenilson Bezerra's recent check of a Bible translation got off to a slow start, but then went so well that one Pacaas Novos man said it was as if God's Word was speaking directly to him. Thank the Lord with us for good progress and clear translation.

USA - MISSIONARY TRAINING CENTER: (December 22, 2008) Thank the Lord with us for 95 students who graduated from NTM's missionary training on Friday. Pray that God will swiftly raise up a team of prayer and financial supporters, so they can be on their way to the roles for which He has prepared them.

Senegal: (December 22, 2008) When it looked like flight costs would become too much, God provided. Praise God for His provision of a Cessna 182.
