Missionaries Tim and Chris See visited their daughter Tami who teaches at Grace International School in Thailand and each had an adventure of their own. Chris stayed with Tami and Tim flew on to Indonesia to help fellow missionaries with a hydro-electric project.
Every day Chris helped out at the school. "The school ministers to missionary kids whose parents are in strategic works," wrote Chris. "I have had a chance to really see the huge responsibility Tami has in overseeing the curriculum. Everyone keeps telling me what a great job she is doing."
Chris and Tami were able to attend two Thai churches, a birthday party and the wedding of a Thai Christian couple. Chris really enjoyed meeting with Tami's Bible study group. They ate "Thai style" on the floor and she shared her testimony with them through an interpreter.
Meanwhile, Tim was enjoying his time working on the hydro electric project in Indonesia.
"I have been getting some good exercise as the dam is over a mile from here," Tim wrote, "and we have walked there and back each day. I have been teaching electricity 101 for several hours per day. … The guys seem to be picking it up OK but it is a lot to learn in a short time."
Tim also visited a Semandang church service. Missionary Darcy Berglund was there to check Bible translation and she translated for Tim.
Last week Chris and Tami flew to Bangkok to meet Tim who was flying in from Indonesia. Pray that Tim and Chris enjoy the remainder of their time in Thailand with their daughter Tami. Pray for their safe return to the USA next month.
