PROCESS FOR BECOMING AN ASSOCIATE

Vocational

• Training and/or experience consistent with the position.
• Teachers should be credentialed or qualify for credentials, and have one year of classroom teaching experience..

Personal

• Assurance of salvation by faith in Jesus Christ
• Doctrinal agreement with NTMC's statement of faith
• High moral character with positive references
• Involvement in a local church, and the backing of its leadership
• Good physical, emotional and mental health
• Desire to be part of a team effort to evangelize unreached people groups
• Willingness to trust God for financial and material needs
• Willingness to serve from six months to two years
• No divorce or remarriage after salvation
• No pre-existing school, auto or credit card debts

NOTE: Associate misssionaries are not required to learn a foreign

language.
