What does it mean to be a “faith mission”?
We trust the Lord to lead in all we do, and have confidence that He will provide for this, His work.
NTMC depends upon God to meet every need; without His provision we cannot continue in this work – individually or corporately.
But it is also a Biblical principle that God desires to use His people to meet missionaries' needs.
Therefore we do not engage in fundraising; rather we communicate needs with supporters and interested individuals. Our desire is to build relationships and to share what God is doing, believing that God is able to raise up people to become involved with us financially.
It follows then that it is our God-given responsibility to be good stewards of His finances and resources; this involves wise planning and careful use of God’s provisions.
God uses times of need to teach us to depend more upon Him. Spiritual lessons as well as material provisions are gifts from our loving Heavenly Father.
Therefore in faith we look to the Lord for His provision; we rejoice in abundance and in lean times look to Him for leading and direction.
