NTM around the world functions on the principle of teamwork. One of our Core Values is “Godly relationships and interdependence in ministry.”
Whether the missionary team in a tribal village, the teachers in the MK school, or the leadership committees in the various NTM partner countries, our desire is the same: to work hard, with every team member using the gifts and abilities which God has given.
Working as a team allows for varied input, encouragement, and building one another up – and sets the pattern for the emerging tribal church.
Board of Directors
According to the regulations for charitable organizations in Canada, New Tribes Mission of Canada has a Board of Directors which provides oversight to the work of NTMC. These directors are the highest authority within NTMC.
The Directors of NTMC are ordinary men from all walks of life who love the Lord Jesus Christ and seek to walk in fellowship with Him. They share a desire to be involved in missions and in seeing the reach of the Gospel expanded to the unreached peoples of the world.
Directors are volunteers who serve without remuneration, except reimbursement for reasonable expenses incurred in performing duties.
Canadian Management Committee
The Board of Directors has delegated the responsibilities for the daily management of NTMC, both in Canada and abroad, to the Canadian Management Committee (CMC).
The CMC in turn provides oversight for the different departments within NTMC. They are responsible for the administration of the daily operations as it relates to the Missionary Training Course, missionaries, donors, churches, and local, provincial and federal governments. Each department within NTMC also is lead by a leadership team made up of people directly involved in that ministry.

If you’d like to be a part of a team contact us. Maybe you can’t be there for the whole ‘game’ but would like to take a short ‘shift’. Go for short work trip or educational experience, or serve for a six-month to two-year term. You might be surprised how the Lord uses your contribution to the effort.
