NTMC Core Values
1. We Value the Word of God as our Final Authority
Therefore we commit to:
- Hold without compromise to those Bible doctrines expressed in our Doctrinal Statement.
- Submit to God by gladly yielding to the authority of His Word alone in all we believe and do.
- Actively seek wisdom from God’s Word in decision making and never choose contrary to it.
Scripture Passages:
“For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven.”
(Psalm 119:89)
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”
(Psalm 119:105)
“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.”
(2 Timothy 3:16,17)
“But the word of the Lord endureth for ever.”
(1 Peter 1:25)

2. We Value a Dispensational Interpretation of Scripture
Therefore we commit to:
- Ensure that NTMC personnel (especially those in positions of leadership or teaching) have a good understanding of this method of interpretation.
- Exercise diligence to ensure that this is the approach used by NTMC personnel involved in the teaching of new believers and shepherding of the Church.
Scripture Passages:
“Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
(2 Tim.2:15)

3. We Value a Spirit-Controlled Life
Therefore we commit to:
- Walk in fellowship with the Lord, thus allowing His life to be seen in and through us individually, resulting in a manifestation of the fruit of the Spirit.
Scripture Passages:
“I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.”
(John 15:5)
“As Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.”
(Romans 6:4)
“This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh….If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.”
(Galatians 5:16-25)
“This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.”
(1 John 1:5-7)

4. We Value Dependence on God
Therefore we commit to:
- Admit our needs to Him through prayer.
- Individually depend on God alone to meet our daily needs.
- Corporately trust God to supply the personnel, direction and resources we need to carry out His will.
Scripture Passages:
“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
(Proverbs 3:5,6)

5. We Value a Willingness to Sacrifice for Christ
Therefore we commit to:
- Carry His Gospel to parts of the world where living and working conditions are often difficult.
- Persevere in completing His task with joy, even in the absence of ease and comfort.

(Ephesians 4:3)
“If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies, Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.”
